To begin, go to the Cancellation Policies tab, located on the left-hand side of your screen.
Next, choose the type of cancellation:
Cancellable with charges
Non-cancellable (100% cancellation fee)
Cancellable without charge (0% cancellation charge)
Then, if you select the Cancellable with charges type, you will need to set the cancellation deadlines, along with the cancellation charge rates. This rate is calculated in relation to the total amount of the booking.
To add a new cancellation deadline, click on the Add a cancellation deadline button. Conversely, to delete a cancellation deadline, click on the Trash button.
Although a No Show (when the customer does not show up on the scheduled arrival date) traditionally leads to a 100% cancellation fee, you can change this value in the field provided.
If you have several tariffs (particularly through promotions and special offers) or if you wish to differentiate your cancellation policy according to your services (whether accommodation offers or options), you will be able to add new cancellation policies.
The cancellation policy will then be inserted into your price plans.
Now that you have set your cancellation policy, move on to configuring your taxes.
