If you don't have a physical Eftpos terminal in your establishment, Paybox offers a practical solution to simplify your cash receipts. Paybox is one of the world's leading payment systems, handling over 50,000 merchant transactions and 140 million transactions a year.

If you already have a distance selling contract with your bank and you benefit from an advantageous commission rate negotiated with your bank, you can keep your contract with your bank and continue to benefit from this rate.

If you do not have a distance selling contract, you will need to apply to the bank of your choice, asking them to activate the Paybox - Verifone Redirection Pack Plus (Paybox System Plus), as well as the Paybox System and Paybox Direct Plus solutions.

In all cases, you will then need to complete this membership contract and send it to the Paybox team via the following email addresses:

Finally, you must ask the Paybox team to activate the PBX_USE_CASE=1 option.

Otherwise, instead of a message offering to store bank details securely, some of your customers may encounter this message during payment:

Good to know:

  • Once Paybox has been set up, you will need to configure the payment method for your bookings.

  • If you choose the Postpaid payment method (bank guarantee not cashed when the booking is created), a request for a pre-authorisation of €1 will be sent to customers when they make their booking, in order to deposit their bank card. It is up to you not to cash in this €1 from your Paybox account.

  • Click here to find out how to cash in via Paybox, within a booking file, from your elloha account.

  • For security reasons, at no time do you have access to the customer's bank details, which are stored in a secure environment at Paybox.

  • We recommend that you clear the booking by the day of arrival at the latest: this will enable you to speak to the customer beforehand or during the use of the service in the event of a problem (cancellation of the bank card, insufficient funds, etc.).

  • You have an interface dedicated to Paybox, to which we do not have access: we strongly advise you to consult it if you need to make a refund, for example. You can also contact Paybox Support.

  • Other payment solutions are partnered with elloha: Stripe and Payzen.
