It may be necessary to manually accept booking requests in order to contact customers before their arrival or to manage the availability of your services more precisely: this is called deferred confirmation, which allows you to switch from bookings to pre-bookings.
To begin, go to one of your services, whether it's a main service (an accommodation offer) or a secondary service (an option).
Here, we'll go to the My offers tab, located on the left-hand side of your screen. Once in the hosting, go to the Expert Mode tab.
Click on the radio button to deactivate immediate booking. All that's left is to set your deadline. In the screenshot below, for example, the accommodation provider will have five days to validate (or not) the booking, starting from the booking request.
You will find your pre-bookings in the Bookings tab and you will need to validate them (or not) by going to the booking file.
To take your settings even further, you can read this article on setting the reservation deadline or this article on the visibility of services.
Interesting facts
OTAs (Airbnb, Booking, Expedia, Abritel-Vrbo, etc.) are not currently able to retrieve the settings made on your elloha account.
The Prepaid partial or Prepaid total collection mode will be deactivated for services with deferred confirmation. You will therefore have to collect the payment manually once the booking has been accepted.
If you do not validate a pre-reservation in time, it will be automatically cancelled and the customer will be informed. You will need to add a new service to the reservation file in order to reactivate it.
