Live bookings, yes, but you don't necessarily accept last-minute bookings. Expert Mode is used to set a minimum booking time, to give you time to prepare for your customers' arrival.
To begin, go to one of your services, whether it's a main service (an accommodation offer) or a secondary service (an option).
Here, we'll go to the My offers tab, located on the left-hand side of your screen. Once in the hosting package, go to the Expert Mode tab.
First of all, you can set specific rules for web sales (on your website's booking engine). Click on the dedicated radio button to reveal several setting options.
The only setting you should need is the notion of "closed for sale", which will allow you to prevent any bookings being made without sufficient lead time. You can set both a time limit in terms of days and a time limit in terms of hours: the screenshot below shows, for example, that reservations become impossible one day before arrival from 6pm.
Conversely, the notion of "open for sale" will determine when a service becomes bookable: the screenshot below shows, for example, that booking becomes possible from five days before arrival.
However, this feature is rarely used. It is also not advisable to use both closing and opening for sale, as this could inadvertently restrict access to your services for future customers.
Secondly, you can set special rules for offline sales (from your elloha account). However, this feature is less relevant if you run your business alone or with a small team.
You'll need to click on the dedicated radio button to bring up several setting options and you'll find exactly the same possibilities as with web sales.
To take your settings even further, you can read this article on delayed confirmation or this article on the visibility of services.
What you need to know
OTAs (Airbnb, Booking, Expedia, Abritel-Vrbo, etc.) are not currently able to retrieve the booking time set up in your elloha account.
