Once you have created an accommodation offer, it is essential to assign it a standard price plan to define its prices and make it available to travellers.
To begin, go to the Rate Plans tab, located on the left-hand side of your screen. Then click on the Create a fare plan button.
Once you've defined the name of your fare plan, make sure you keep the type Rack - Standard.
If you wish, you can then go into more detail about your price plan, specifying any special features. However, it's best to fill in the "Price includes" and "Price does not include" fields.
Next, you'll need to determine the pricing method for the price plan. First of all, you can choose between :
Per-person pricing: prices are defined per occupant,
Service-based pricing: rates do not vary according to occupancy,
Combination pricing: rates are based on groups (1 adult, 2 adults, 1 adult + 1 child, etc.).
You can then choose between :
Rates per night
Weekly rates
You will then need to specify whether board is included. You can choose between :
No board
Breakfast
Half board
Full board
Before moving on to the restrictions, you can indicate what the price plan includes (beds made on arrival, for example) and does not include (tourist tax, for example).
In terms of restrictions, you can define the minimum and maximum length of stay and the arrival and departure days eligible for the price plan.
You will then need to define the cancellation policy for the price plan from among those you have already created.
The penultimate step is to define the method of payment from among :
Full payment on booking: the total amount of the basket is collected as soon as the booking is created, with the exception of the tourist tax. You will need to have activated a virtual Eftpos terminal to access this payment method.
Partial payment on booking: a percentage of the basket amount, which you set, is deducted at the time of booking. A virtual Eftpos terminal must be activated to use this payment method.
Payment on arrival with bank card as guarantee: the customer's bank card is registered at the time of booking, but no payment is made immediately. A virtual Eftpos terminal must be activated to use this payment method.
Payment on arrival without credit card guarantee.
Once you have saved your changes, you can define the accommodation offers to which you wish to apply the price plan.
Your price plan is now ready to use: go to Planning to define the prices of the accommodation packages you have chosen.
