📌 This article answers the following questions:

- How do I add photos to my elloha media library?

- What file formats and dimensions are recommended for my photos?

- How do I organise my photos by theme (rooms, outdoor areas, facilities)?

- How do I edit or delete a photo already saved in my media library?

Why is this essential?

In a highly visual world, your photos are your best allies for:

  • Capturing that ‘love at first sight’ moment: A light-filled living room or a breathtaking view makes all the difference.

  • Build trust: Clear, professional images reassure your guests about the quality of your services.

  • Showcase your strengths: Highlight the details that make your accommodation unique (decor, facilities, surroundings).

  • Boost your bookings: A well-photographed property converts up to twice as many bookings as one without high-quality photos.

Step 1: Access your media library

This area centralises all the images in your elloha account for managing your accommodation.

  1. In the left-hand side menu, click on Marketing.

  2. Select the Media tab.

From this screen, you can:

  • Add new photos to your library.

  • Find and manage images you’ve already saved.

  • Select your images to illustrate your various services.

💡 Tip: For the best display on your booking engine, make sure you use high-quality images in landscape format.

Recommended dimensions: 1600x1200 px minimum
Orientation: Landscape
Formats: jpg, jpeg, png, x-icon

Maximum file size: 6 MB

Step 2: Add your photos

Upload images of your accommodation to showcase your accommodation offering:

  1. Click on the ‘Add media’ button.

  2. Select one or more files from your computer.

💡 Tip: If your images are already hosted online, you can also add them by entering their URL directly.

Step 3: Manage your photos and media library

All uploaded photos are stored in your media library for use when managing your accommodation.

  1. Locate the relevant image in your list.

  2. Click on the three-dot icon to the right of the file to edit or delete the image.

  3. Add a caption that will be visible on your Basic or Magic website.

💡 Tip: Regularly delete obsolete files to keep your media library organised and make it easier to update your listings.

Step 4: Organise your photos by theme

To structure your media library and make it easier to manage your images, you can organise your photos by theme:

  1. Go to the themes drop-down menu in the top left-hand corner.

  2. Click on ‘Create a new theme’.

  3. Name your gallery (for example: bedrooms, exterior, facilities).

💡 Tip: A well-organised media library allows you to instantly find the perfect image to showcase the different areas of your accommodation.

Key points

  • Centralisation: All your photos are stored in one place for ease of use.

  • Responsiveness: Update your images as soon as you make an improvement to your accommodation.

  • Impact: Beautiful photos are the main driver of your direct bookings.
