📌 This article answers the following questions:

- How do I integrate Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager into my Elloha website?

- How do I add the Facebook (Meta) Pixel to my website?

- Where do I paste my tracking script in elloha?

- Why aren’t my statistics showing up after I’ve added the script?

Why is this important?

Tracking activity on your website isn’t just about the numbers; it’s a strategic asset for:

  • Understanding your customers: Identify the pages that really capture their interest.

  • Optimise your investment: Measure the effectiveness of your adverts (Facebook, Google) to avoid unnecessary spending.

  • Boost your direct bookings: Spot when a visitor leaves your site so you can take corrective action.

Follow the step-by-step guide

Step 1: Access your website’s settings

To customise the look of your website, follow these steps:

  1. In the left-hand side menu on your screen, click on Website.

  2. Click the ‘Customise’ button at the top right of your screen.

If you haven’t activated your website yet, head to this article and follow the instructions!

Step 2: Access the tracking script fields

Scroll down the page to the section dedicated to integrating your analytics tools:

  1. Locate the fields provided for inserting your scripts.

  2. Paste your tracking codes directly into the corresponding fields.

This section allows you to integrate your analytics tools for your website:

💡 Tip: Make sure you copy the entire script provided by your analytics platform to ensure data is reported correctly from your hosting provider.

Step 4: Insert the tracking script

Follow these steps to integrate your tracking tool correctly:

  1. Copy the full code provided by the external tool you wish to use.

  2. Paste it directly into the dedicated field in your elloha interface.

  3. Check that the entire script has been inserted before confirming.

If you are using several tracking tools, make sure to clearly separate each block of code before saving your changes.

💡 Tip: Make sure you copy the entire script provided by your analytics platform to ensure your accommodation’s data is reported correctly.

⚠️ Warning: Do not modify the content of the script to ensure the tool works correctly on your booking engine.

Step 5: Check that your tags are compliant

Before finalising the process, check that your integration scripts are correct:

  • Make sure the code you have inserted strictly adheres to the format provided by Google or Meta.

  • Check that no characters have been deleted or altered during the copy-and-paste process.

⚠️ Please note: An incomplete or altered tag will prevent statistical data from being collected on your accommodation website.

The data is not backdated. Your tool will start recording visits from the moment you click ‘Save’. Please allow a few hours for the first statistics to appear in your analytics dashboards.

To set up tracking for your activity and analyse your customers’ behaviour, refer to the official guides:
