In just 2 minutes flat, really! The advantage of this wizard is that it lets you enter the basic details about your holiday let in just a few seconds (one or more photos, a description with or without the help of AI, the main facilities on offer to your future guests, etc.). Using this basic information, you’ll be able to quickly preview how your new website and booking engine will look (how your listing and prices will be displayed, etc.).
Step 1: Follow the wizard’s guidance
This (essential) step comes straight after you’ve created your account. It allows you to enter the basic information you’ll need to immediately test how your listings will look on your booking engine and your Basic website.
Click on ‘Let’s get started!’ and follow the steps.
Step 2: Enter the key details
This screen is divided into two parts:
on the left, you enter your basic details
on the right, you’ll see an instant preview of how this information will be displayed to your future customers
Here are a few recommendations:
The name of your holiday rental is the one you entered when you created your account (you can change this freely here at a later date),
Price per night: enter a base price (e.g. €100) but bear in mind that you can freely adjust your pricing (for example, by specifying ‘weekly’ rates or setting prices ‘per person’ or by ‘age group’),
Description of your holiday rental: write your own description of your accommodation and its surroundings.
☕️ Let the AI write it for you!
Sit back, click on “AI, write for me!” and discover (thanks to a custom prompt developed by the elloha team) a bespoke description of your holiday rental. Do you like it but want to tweak it slightly or add to it? No problem: place your mouse in the text input field and make your changes. Would you like to add one or more foreign-language versions of this text? That’s no problem either. You can do this later, either manually or automatically, by clicking here.
Your comfort features: choose from the most popular amenities for holiday rentals. At this stage, the list is deliberately limited to speed up the setup of your first listing. However, you’ll be able to add to your comfort features and amenities at any time in this section of your account.
Your photos: at this stage, you can upload a photo of your holiday let by clicking on ‘My image’ or, if you’d like to try out your account in quick mode, choose a sample photo provided for illustrative purposes. Of course, you can add, delete or edit your photos at any time by accessing this menu.
Now that you’ve seen (on the right-hand side of your screen) what your listing will look like, click Next.
Step 3: Confirm the creation of your basic listing
Check that the information you’ve entered is correct, then click ‘Confirm’ to finalise the creation of your holiday rental listing.
Good news: as soon as your basic listing is created, elloha automatically sets default availability and rates for the next 7 days (i.e. the entire duration of your trial period). This means you can immediately see how your booking engine will look under real-world conditions.
❗️ Important: Before publishing your booking engine or your website, or activating a sales channel, check and update your calendar. An open channel is immediately available for bookings. A guidance message will appear directly in your calendar to help you through this step.
Don’t forget that you can edit or add to the basic details of your listing at any time. This wizard allows you to quickly create a personalised listing to test in your elloha account.
