📌 This article answers the following questions:
• How do I connect elloha to Google My Business?
• How do I synchronise my photos and opening hours with Google?
• How do I publish my offers on my Google listing?
• My Google listing isn’t updating from elloha — what should I do?
Why is this important?
Your Google business listing (or Google My Business) is often the first point of contact with your customers. By synchronising it with elloha:
You avoid errors: No need to update your opening hours or photos in two different places.
You reassure your customers: A complete listing that’s consistent with your website inspires confidence.
You boost your bookings: Your offers and best photos are directly visible where customers are searching.
Gain an edge over your competitors: a well-maintained and up-to-date Google listing helps you stand out and win over travellers more easily.
What your customers will see
Your customers can see your gift cards, gift vouchers, promo codes and news highlighted directly on your Google listing, and can discover your special offers and latest updates at a glance, even before visiting your website.
Follow the step-by-step guide
Step 1: Link your Google account
To get started, go to the Marketing menu on the left-hand side of your screen, then click on the Google My Business tab.
Finally, click the Connect button.
You’ll automatically be taken to the Connectivity tab. Now enable the Google My Business connection.
⚠️ Please note: For synchronisation to work, your Google business listing must already have been created and verified by Google. If you don’t have one yet, now is the perfect time to create it!
Select the Google account you wish to connect. Make sure this Google account is the Owner or Administrator of your Google business listing.
Step 2: Authorise access to elloha
Authorise the connection between elloha and your Google account.
Step 3: Complete the Google My Business connection
Select the Google account and the business listing you wish to link, then click ‘Confirm’.
❗️ Important: do not confuse your Google account with your business
listing
Your Google account is your login (email and password), whilst your Google business listing is the page visible to your customers on Google and Google Maps.
Make sure you select the correct account and business listing to ensure the right information is synchronised.
Step 4: Publish to Google from elloha
Once your account is linked to Google, you can share certain content directly from elloha to your Google My Business listing.
In the relevant features, a ‘Publish’ tab allows you to easily send your content to Google.
In particular, you can publish:
gift vouchers
gift vouchers
promo codes
news updates.
Step 5: Synchronise your data with Google My Business
You can now synchronise certain details from your elloha account with those on your Google My Business listing:
Business name
Landline number
Mobile phone number
Website
Logo
Social media
Photos
